Details of Mitacs Global Research Internship
The Mitacs Globalink Research Award (GRA) promotes research collaborations between Canada, select partner organizations, and Eligible countries and regions. Students from around the world are Eligible, with no gender restrictions—both males and females are encouraged to apply.
Successful senior Undergraduate students, Graduate students, and Postdoctoral fellows will receive a $6,000 research award to conduct a 12 to 24week research project in a host country under the joint supervision of a home and host professor. Awards are offered in partnership with Mitacs's Canadian academic partners, and in some cases, with Mitacs's international partners, subject to available funding.

Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the Mitacs Global Research Internship 2024 are as follows:
- International students from all over the world are equally eligible for this program.
- There is no gender restriction; both males and females can apply freely.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be eligible.
- Students must be enrolled in any Undergraduate, Master's, or PhD. program in an institution in their home country.
- Interested applicants must be available for fulltime research studies and projects from May 1 to July 1, 2024.
- Applicants must possess a valid passport.
- Applicants should provide verified degree transcripts and an English language proficiency certificate.
- At least one recommendation letter or reference letter from a professor or associate professor from their department is required.
- Language requirements: Mitacs does not require applicants to submit language proficiency scores. An English proficiency certificate from the host university is sufficient.
- All available fields of study are listed in the following sections. Only students from these major subjects are eligible.
