Eligibility Criteria

KAUST Application Timeline for 2025 Admissions

Spring 2025 Admission

For the Spring 2025 intake, only MS/PhD Track and PhD applicants are eligible to apply. Below are the key dates to remember for this round of admissions:

  • Applications Open: 15 August 2024
  • Applications Close: 1 October 2024
  • Decisions Sent to Applicants: Between 14 November 2024 and 1 December 2024
  • Spring Semester Starts: 26 January 2025

If your application is submitted after the deadline, it will automatically be transferred to the next round for Fall 2025 consideration.


Fall 2025 Admission

The Fall 2025 intake is open to applicants for the Postgraduate Diploma, M.S., and PhD programs. KAUST has two more rounds for the Fall semester admissions, and students can apply in either Round 2 or Round 3.

Round 2

  • Applications Open: 15 August 2024
  • Applications Close: 11 January 2025
  • Decisions Sent to Applicants: Between 27 February and 2 March 2025
  • Fall Semester Starts: 31 August 2025

Round 3

  • Applications Open: 15 August 2024
  • Applications Close: 12 April 2025
  • Decisions Sent to Applicants: 5 June 2025
  • Fall Semester Starts: 31 August 2025

Any applications received after the deadlines will be rolled over to the next round until the class is full. The earlier you apply, the better your chances of securing a spot in the program!
